Get ready for an exciting week of racing with the Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges! These bonus events are a real treat for players who have conquered the main GT Cafe mode. Each week, you'll face five unique challenges, four of which are standard races, and one special event that could be a race, a time trial, or a mission-based challenge. Completing all five challenges within a week not only earns you regular event credits but also unlocks bonus prizes, making it a great opportunity to explore and conquer events you might have overlooked.
But here's where it gets interesting...
January Week 4 Events
European FR Challenge 550 - Red Bull Ring
Kick things off with a race at the Red Bull Ring, where you'll need a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive European road car. Don't worry about the '550' in the name; it's just a guide for a close race with the leading AI cars, so feel free to choose your favorite European ride!
Sunday Cup - Brands Hatch
The Sunday Cup at Brands Hatch Indy Circuit offers a decent 37,000cr reward for just five laps. With only road cars required, you can unleash your overpowered exotics or even the Vision GT cars for an easy win. Just watch out for those backmarkers!
Special Event - Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve
This week's Special Event brings back the Hyundai Elantra N performance sedan. Most rival cars are standard, but that yellow machine is a real speedster. Tweak your ride a bit, and you could win the 72,000cr prize for the four-lap race at the new Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve.
American Clubman Cup 700 - Mount Panorama
Get ready for a big prize boost! Winning the American Clubman Cup 700 at Mount Panorama could earn you a whopping 94,000cr. It's a short five-lap race, but the course is challenging. You can use any American road or pre-tuned car, and the '700' in the name is just a guide for a fair fight with the lead AI, so choose your favorite American muscle.
Gr.1 Prototype Cup - Circuit de Sainte-Croix
The finale takes us to the fictional Circuit de Sainte-Croix for the Gr.1 Prototype Cup. Despite the name, any car under 950PP with racing tires will do. It's an eight-lap endurance race on the huge C course, so manage your fuel and tire wear wisely. Victory here nets you a massive 210,000cr!
Weekly Challenge Rewards
Weekly Challenges also offer bonus rewards that increase with each completed event. These rewards are sent to your Garage's Gifts section and must be redeemed before they expire. This week, you can earn a 100,000cr ticket for completing one event, a 200,000cr ticket for three events, and the rare Six-Star Car ticket for completing all five, which guarantees a Brand Central car worth at least 480,000cr, including Invitation-only models.
And this is the part most people miss...
To access the Weekly Challenges, you must have completed GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie. The events update every Friday morning at midnight local time, so mark your calendars for the next set of challenges on January 30th!
